Length: 3-month

Pay: £17-£20 p/h

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in Basingstoke. As the IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd level support to our internal customers, resolving and escalating all IT issues reported to the IT Manager and global teams.

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, able to work independently or within a team, and possesses a positive attitude with a willingness to go the extra mile to resolve issues.

You will have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in an internal infrastructure support role, with knowledge of Microsoft Office 2016 and 365 being advantageous. Experience with mobile devices (IOS & Android), software deployment methodology, and ITIL processes are also highly desirable.

As the IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and solving hardware and software faults, as well as providing support for the client PLM roll-out and continuing to support the client's core business. You will work closely with the Technical IT Manager to support and deliver company-wide solutions.

The core technologies include Windows Server 2012, 2016 & 2019 Server virtualisation with VMware, moving to GCP and Azure, and utilising SaaS Citrix XenApp. Client technologies are Windows 7/10 with Office 365, Ivanti & Bomgar remote tools, and many other client applications, including in-house developed systems (experience with these is not essential).
