Job Description

Deerfoot IT Recruitment has an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and collaborative 1st Line Helpdesk Support Engineer to join our client's welcoming and inclusive team. This full-time support engineering role is based in London and offers a salary of £25,000 per annum and excellent benefits.
As an attentive 1st Line Helpdesk Support Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for all IT support queries within the company. You will also work with various users to resolve or escalate their technical issues quickly and professionally. In addition, you will talk the user through the required steps to resolve the issue or escalate to the Technology Manager as and when necessary.

Some of your responsibilities in this 1st Line Helpdesk Support Engineer role will include:
* Responding to user software or hardware queries via email or telephone
* Updating the ticketing system, ensuring the call has been logged, and all notes, progress and required actions have been input promptly and accurately
* Continuously improving knowledge and understanding across the various software and hardware technologies supported by the IT department
* Maintaining an exceptional customer focus at all times
* All applicants must have a full UK License and access to a car

To succeed in this Helpdesk support engineering position, you must have 2+ years of experience within the support sector. You will also require a GCSE in English, Maths and Science, all at grade A or above, with three A Levels (in any discipline) as a minimum. In addition, you should have expertise in Windows 10 and 11 administration and support. Excellent communication and customer service skills are also essential.
