Job Description

1st Line Service Desk Analyst / Junior IT Analyst / Support Technician / Technical Support / Level 1 Support / Customer Service / Managed Service Provider / MSP / IT Helpdesk

Concept Resourcing are currently working with a growing Managed Service Provider to recruit a 1st Line Service Desk Analyst into their support team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone keen to progress their IT career within a fast-paced environment with excellent opportunities for growth and development.

Location – Staines-upon-Thames

Salary – £25-26,000 per annum

The Role

Act as the initial point of contact for issues coming into the service desk
Supporting customers by resolving IT issues within set SLAs
Actively logging the call on the ticketing system, and escalating the issue where applicable
Display high levels of customer service and an excellent phone manner
Excellent training available, and structured promotion path to 2nd line

The Ideal Candidate

Previous 1st line experience would be highly beneficial
Strong customer service and communication skills
Background in IT or relevant certification (CompTIA A+)
Coachable and willing to learn
Familiar with Managed Service Provider and Data Centre environments
Any experience within an ITIL environment would be beneficial
Must be able and willing to go through a security check
