Job Description

Job Title: 1st Line Support Analyst
Work Pattern: 37 hours per week
Type: Permanent
Location: Middlesbrough TS2
Salary: £23,369 per annum

Purpose of the role –
Our client is looking for a 1st Line Support Analyst to be responsible for day-to-day operational IT issues and requests relating to systems and hardware including responding to telephone calls, emails, and self-service tickets from customers.
Job Role –

To fulfil the requirements as set out within the Tier 6 profile
To assist in delivering ad-hoc tasks / projects as required
Respond to incidents & service requests reported through telephone, email, and self-service
To categorise, assign and prioritise incidents & service requests
To provide 1st Line systems support to a range of applications
To provide 1st Line hardware support to a range of devices
To provide 1st point of contact resolution where possible
Continually update & record user interactions within the IT Service Management software.
Continually update and contribute to the knowledgebase
To escalate user issues / faults where appropriate, track resolutions and keeping the customer informed throughout
Build meaningful relationships with customers & external suppliersCandidate Requirements –

Relevant IT qualification or demonstrable experience
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications
Knowledge of internal business systems
Provisioning of new hardware & troubleshooting of existing devices
Experience of providing a high standard of IT service delivery and customer service
Experience of working in a service desk environment
