Job Description
We’re currently on the look out for a 1st Line support engineer to work a permanent basis for out client based in Stoke on Trent. The role requires someone with a strong background in technology and Customer service. Ideally someone who has come from a 1st Line support role previously.
Skills:
* Receives and handles requests for service, following agreed procedures.
* Triage all calls/tickets, log and maintain on the ITSM tool in a timely manner.
* Identifies and classifies incident types and service interruptions
* Records incidents cataloguing them by symptom and resolution
* Adhere to all service management principles.
* The ability to think logically, meet deadlines and effectively prioritise workload according to the needs of the customers and SLA’s.
* Excellent listening and questioning skills combined with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders and employees, translating technical terms to non-technical folk.
* Committed to professional development, broadening knowledge where possible
* Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset by sharing best practices and promoting innovation.
* Committed to working any of our core shifts (8-hours) between 7am – 6pm
Shift 1: 7.30 – 4 (30 min break)
Shift 2: 8.30 – 5 (30 min break)
Shift 3: 9.30 – 6 (30 min break)
