Job Title: 1st Line Support Engineer
Salary: £25,000 D.O.E
We are currently recruiting for an experienced 1st Line Support Engineer to join a successful IT company in Staffordshire.
The successful candidate will be tasked with providing technical support to customers, working with the team to identify and resolve IT issues, as well as providing general advice and guidance.
Provide 1st line technical support to customers, via phone, email, and remote access tools
Diagnose and troubleshoot customer issues
Create and maintain customer accounts
Perform system maintenance tasks
Update and maintain customer records
Provide feedback on customer service
Provide advice and guidance to customers
Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
Adhere to company policies and proceduresTechnical Skills:
Experience in 1st line customer support
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
Knowledge of Windows Operating systems
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of basic networking, such as TCP/IP
Experience with remote access tools
