IT Service Desk Analyst | Competitive Salary | Permanent | Flexible working arrangements | York
We are looking for an IT Service Desk Analyst who will be responsible for maintaining the communication channels with the customer and the IT department and providing the first point of contact for technology. The Service Desk Analyst will provide a professional experience for our internal customers, responding to and resolving a wide range of incidents and requests, always ensuring excellent communication.
The Analysts role requires handling a high volume of incidents and working within strict Service Level Agreements. You will use your comprehensive knowledge of IT, excellent communication and problem-solving skills to resolve incidents effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Deliver projects to agreed objectives and timescales.
Monitor and manage voice systems and end-user voice soft clients.
Ensure the security, availability and integrity of systems and data.
Ensure that all relevant software and firmware are at the appropriate revision level.
Work with vendors to obtain, schedule and implement updates.
Ensure that all changes are implemented in a formal and controlled manner, appropriately communicated and documented.
Assist in the management of company hardware and software assets.
Assist with all administrative processes to simplify, automate, increase productivity and eliminate errors.
Liaise with the internal support team during project rollouts and complex technical issues.
Build and maintain relationships with third parties and ensure delivery of services.
Skills/Experience:
Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
Working in large scale, multi-site environments Knowledge of:
Windows OS
Windows Server OS
Active Directory
Microsoft Exchange
VMWare
Anti-virus products
SQL Server
Remote access software such as TeamViewer
Microsoft Office (all versions)
Voice systems
Video Conferencing
Microsoft 365
Networking
