Job Description
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced IT 2nd Line Support Technician to join their small team
You will be professionally and efficiently resolving IT issues throughout the business.
The main aspects of the role are –
maintaining and supporting MICROSOFT SYSTEMS.
Microsoft Server operating systems
Windows operating systems
Active Directory
1st/2nd line support for server/client systems
Print Servers/File Servers
MAINTAINING AND SUPPORTING MICROSOFT CLOUD SYSTEMS.
Microsoft 365 admin consoles
Microsoft Azure
Exchange Online
EndPoint Manager (InTune)
BASIC SUPPORT OF SQL SERVICES
1st line support & troubleshooting within SQL systems and environments to support the business
SHAREPOINT ADMINISTRATION
Assist with day-to-day running of SharePoint systems and services.
Manage all project planning for SharePoint development and deployment.
TICKET MANAGEMENT
ITIL Awareness
Operating to a SLA and achieving KPI targets of varying ticket priorities to maintain an optimum IT service
Ensuring good practice in change management is constantly applied in line with IT Services
new starters & leavers
Be able to efficiently set-up users in hybrid active directory environments
Conduct IT inductions with new starters
Maintain asset register to ensure complete traceability of IT equipment
BACKUP TECHNOLOGIES
Maintain a healthy backup setup to support our systems both on-premises & cloud
SECURITY
Maintain compliance with ISO27001 & Cyber Essentials+ audits
Ensure best practice security methodologies are utilised with every day working
Protect security posture within the business utilising and developing the security tools available
Essential requirements –
EXPERIENCE WITH ACTIVE DIRECTORY AND DNS TECHNOLOGIES
ADMINISTRATION WITH VMWARE
EXPERIENCE SETTING UP, AND ADMINISTERING WINDOWS SERVER 2019/2022
GOOD NETWORK TROUBLESHOOTING EXPERIENCE
OFFICE 365 ADMINISTRATION
EXCHANGE ONLINE ADMINISTRATION
UNDERSTANDING OF PROBLEM/CHANGE/INCIDENT MANAGEMENT
ADMINISTRATION OF MICROSOFT AZURE 365
