3rd Line Support Engineer
£ 35,000 – £38,000 + progression + training + expenses
We are seeking a motivated Senior IT Support Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be assisting with providing 2nd to 3nd line support to our expanding customer base.
We are a rapidly expanding IT managed service provider delivering high quality IT services to companies across the UK. Due to our recent growth success, we are now seeking multiple candidates to fill junior and senior support, cloud, security, and software development positions. We are passionate about employee growth and progression, and will support staff with their journey to their career goals.
Providing 2nd & 3rd line support diagnosis and resolution for our large client base
Working with clients to gather, document, and specify customer requirements relating to internal systems, networks and applications
Support, develop & implement AAD, 365, Azure, SharePoint, Teams solutions
Device management through MDM
Respond to service requests in our SLA and maintaining support tickets
Specify and implement hardware solutions – PC, network, server
Rigorously following existing procedures and best practices, as well as contributing to the development and refinement of such procedures.
Thorough knowledge of current IT technology, including, but limited to:
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange, Azure, SharePoint, Intune
Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (desktop & server)
Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
Knowledge of IT infrastructure including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, security, firewalls
Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines
Excellent understanding of IT security and best practices
Excellent understanding of IT architecture
Current and valid UK Driver’s licence and vehicle
Industry recognised certifications (ITIL, Microsoft, CCSP, CompTIA)
Ability to communicate at board level – internally and with clients.
