crooton has an exciting opportunity for an Application Project Manager to work with a well-established international food packaging company based in Huntingdon. As an Application Project Manager you will lead the development of a new software development project to integrate raw material traceability data across several platforms. (This project is midway through, the new PM would

be leading on the delivery of the project)

Office Location: Huntingdon – we are open to all applicants no matter your

location. Ideally, we would like someone to travel to the office for occasional

You will be leading on the delivery of an innovative, real time traceability application. This role is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual who will be helping us deliver on our automation projects.

As an Application Project Manager some of the responsibilities will be to:

Lead the successful delivery of all key deliverables to ensure the project’s
success.

Ensure focus on the core deliverable whilst understanding and facilitating integration with the wider applications landscape
Define, plan and report on milestones and deliverables throughout the programme
Prepare and present budget tracking tools and reports, to ensure spend is controlled
Leverage steering and executive committees for decision-making, change management and communications
Management of Project portfolio to achieve agreed success factors
Working with our partner on the delivery of automation projects

To succeed as an Application Project Manager, we ask that you have the following experience/expertise:

Senior Project Manager with experience in planning, mobilising, managing the full project life cycle, and delivering transformational IT projects and programmes
Food Industry and/or Manufacturing experienced highly desirable
Gravitas and engagement skills to communicate with and influence senior business leaders, whilst building relationships across a wide range of
stakeholder

Effective and robust approach to change management and project
governance

Experienced and astute in the management of multiple stakeholders both
internally and third party

Broad understanding of IT systems and technology implemented within a
business context

Professional Project Management qualification(s) (eg PMP, PRINCE 2, APM, etc.)
