Job Description

Assistant Data Analyst – Wimbledon, London / WFH

Salary £20,000 – £25,000 DOE plus benefits

We are delighted to be recruiting an Assistant Data Analyst to work for a leading independent media and events business based in Wimbledon on a hybrid basis. Due to expansion, they are searching for an Assistant Data Analyst who will work closely with the Senior Consultant Data Analyst and the Head of Marketing, helping the business to use data to better understand their audiences and customers.

Job Description

The Assistant Data Analyst’s main responsibilities include:

* Analise data collection methods and how the business can start implementing new ones, e.g., online forms, surveys, event registrations etc

* Working closely with the data house to ensure any changes to data are communicated through the different data software

* Analysing marketing email performances across all brands and providing stats in a clear and timely fashion to marketing colleagues, clients and the sales team

* Aiding the team in data selection of marketing lists, using correct demographics and monitoring behavioural tendencies of contacts

* Uploading data to Hubspot, and reviewing where the business can cull lapsed data

* Working with the call centre to provide them with the correct data selection and scripts

* Analysis of social media and website stats using Google Analytics, Creator studio, Buffer to translate this back to the marketing and content team

* Aiding the team in creating data capture so it includes all the correct data, and pulls through to the correct channels

* Setting-up lead generation campaigns

The Assistant Data Analyst will have the following attributes and skills:

* Analytical and problem-solving abilities

* An educational background in a numeric subject (sciences, maths, engineering, economics) with an understanding of probability and statistics

* Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics and other CRM or analytical software would be beneficial

* A passion for data and digital

* An ability to learn and work collaboratively with peers across departments
