Job title: Automation Tester

Contract: 6 Months+

Location: Hemel Hempstead

Rate: £700 per day inside ir35

DV security clearance is required for this role.

I am looking for an Automation Tester for a client of mine who are a leading IT Systems Integrator operating within the UK defence sector

Key Responsibilities:

As an Automation Tester you will deliver work to agreed estimates and timescales.
To mentor and coordinate the test team.
To provide breadth of domain knowledge to support delivery in all areas of testing.
To produce a Test Strategy for simple or moderate testing requirements, utilising a risk-based approach.
As an Automation Tester you will produce and review Test Plans for simple or moderate testing requirements, in line with the Test Strategy.
To develop high level Test Cases (scenarios) and Test Scripts, including expected results, for simple or moderate requirements in line with the Test Strategy.
As an Automation Tester you will create and manage test data and specify testing environments for more complex requirements.Essential Skills

At an advanced level able to articulate and demonstrate a good understanding of: Test Management: Responsibilities for the Test Analyst Improving The Testing Process Test Techniques Testing Software Quality Characteristics Reviews Defect Management Test Tools And Automation
Highly skilled in the use of Selenium and Jmeter
Has the capability to undertake manual testing as required
Has demonstrable in-depth experience in using common business technology (for example, MS Office suite of tools)
