AWS DevOps Engineer
Location: Fully Remote within the UK
Salary: £50,000 – £66,000

Are you a Solutions Architect Certified DevOps Engineer with experience in Terraform looking for your next challenge?

For over a decade our client has designed, developed and delivered event technology software that is trusted by thousands of event planners around the globe. You'll be an integral part of the software engineering team, responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting a highly available, performant, and globally distributed product.

Key Responsibilities

Review the infrastructure and planning development priorities.
Carefully plan and manage infrastructure upgrades to minimise downtime to clients and provide occasional out of hours support.
Create and maintain scalable, stable, and secure cloud deployment infrastructures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and find opportunities to automate their requirements early in the development lifecycle.
Share your knowledge and solutions within the wider software team to maximise efficiencies and standardisation.Your Experience

Commercial experience working with AWS (IAM/ECS/ElasticSearch/Cloudfront/VPC)
Comfortable with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Hands-on experience with SRE / DevOps lifecycle, tools, and frameworks
Experience deploying and managing globally distributed product in multiple time zones.
Experience with CI/CD, release management and DevOps practices
Experience working with Linux OS, Containerization (Docker) and serverless technology.
