AWS DevOps Engineer – Fully remote – ECS Fargate / RDS / Elasticache / Terraform / Docker

I’m working with a fast growing software house in the events industry who specialise in web and mobile applications for corporate events, exhibitions and fundraisers. They are small but a multinational company and you will be working alongside their Systems Architect who has built their Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps process over the last 5 years. They have a mid-sized, mature platform with some quite robust scaling and self-healing operations built in. Its predominantly a monolithic API running on ECS fargate / RDS / Elasticache, combined with roughly 30-40 other services. They have an extensive road map and you will certainly never get bored in this role.

To be considered for interview they are looking for experience in most of these key skills and experience:

* 3 years AWS commercial experience and / or AWS Solutions Architect Certification

* AWS Services – fargate, RDS, SES, SNS, SQS, Elasticache redis, Lambda, VPC, IAM, ALB, NLB, Aurora serverless v2, STS / Role assumption, boto3

* Terraform

* CI/CD, release management and DevOps practices

* Python, Bash or Shell Scripting

* Docker

* Experience with monitoring, alerting and observability

* Cloud Networking and Security

Desirable experience:

* Experience deploying and managing globally distributed product in multiple time zones

* Experience event driven architecture and microservices

Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 + benefits

Location: Fully remote
