Job Description

Looking for a Security role where you will help shape the cloud environment within the entire company? IntaPeople is working with a Swansea-based tech company to expand the Cyber Security team with a Cloud Security Engineer to deliver and enhance security capabilities in Microsoft Azure.

About you

We’re looking for strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical terms to non-technical people in a way they will understand; so for example, speaking in business language to stakeholders etc

You’ll be a SME in Azure, ideally with experience of migration from on-prem to the cloud

You’ll be a self-starter, proactive, inquisitive and driven. The company has established a happy and motivating culture, so the Cloud Security Engineer will be a team player who will contribute to the team/company ethos.

About the role:

The main focus of this role is expanding to Azure cloud, and we expect this to span 2-3 years.  There will then be some firewall projects and managing, improving and maturing the cloud security systems.

The Cloud Security Engineer will be building capabilities in the cloud and integrating these with the on prem systems; the SIEM tools they are using are Qradar and Darktrace, although experience in similar tools will be suitable ie LogRhythm, Splunk etc.

This is a mid-level role experience with Azure security tooling is essential, especially with MS Defender, Azure Monitoring and Sentinel

The role is mainly remote, but travel to the office once per quarter is required.  More regular office visits is definitely preferred, this can also be expensed.
