Azure Senior Technical Consultant

Polar Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a market leading IT Services client for an Azure Senior Technical Consultant to deliver Azure infrastructure solutions for prestigious enterprise clients

The Azure Senior Technical Consultant is a delivery focussed role so requires strong hands-on Azure technical skills and previous experience in a similar technical consultancy role.

Azure Senior Technical Consultant – Responsibilities

Technical point of contact and SME for the delivery of Azure infrastructure.
Work closely with customers to understand their requirements, and implement solutions to meet these needs
Support Senior Architects and provide technical input to the design of solutions
Develop infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or ARM
Provide presales support and lead small teams.

Azure Senior Technical Consultant – Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a similar technical consulting role.
Commercial experience of design and delivery of Azure Cloud solutions.
Practical Azure implementation experience
Azure Architecture Review
Automation/Tooling experience (Terraform or ARM)
Azure certification
DevOps experience
Experience with one or more of the following; CI/CD, automation and containerization technologies such as Jenkins, Ansible, Kubernetes, Redhat Openshift, Terraform, etc
Full Driving Licence and willing to travel widely for assignments, although flexible/remote working is available with WFH (Working from Home) opportunities when not on customer site.
Eligible for SC level Security Clearance.
