My client, a well established Software House, are looking for a Mid-Level Back End PHP Developer to join their expanding team. Please see details below.

PLEASE NOTE: YOU ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A DRIVERS LICENSE AS THERE ARE NO NEARBY PUBLIC TRANSPORT LINKS – YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED IF YOU ARE NOT WITHIN A COMMUTABLE DRIVE TO BEDFORD

Key responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have a passion for systems development and achieving quality results using clean code and will be interested in Back-End development.

* Work with both clients and our internal team to define product stories

* Supporting roadmaps development with product owners

* Developing in PHP

* Developing API’s and API Integrations

* Supporting client meetings as required i.e. scope gathering, recommendations, demonstrating functionality etc

Essential skills:

* Working In Digital Agency or SaaS environment

* Extensive experience of PHP

* Experience with a modern-day PHP framework, such as Laravel

* Experience of bespoke non-framework-based PHP projects

* Extensive working knowledge of MySQL and ability to write custom SQL queries

* Version/Source control using GIT

* Experience working with ISO 9001:2015 & 27001

* Extensive use of Microsoft Office 365

* Experience working with 3rd party APIs and integrating them into existing systems

Desirable skills:

* Front-end technology experience including: CSS5, HTML,BOOTSTRAP,VUEJS
