Position: Backend Engineer (Python)

Industry: Healthcare (Tech)

Location: Fully Remote (London)

Salary: £70,000

We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer (Python) to join a leading Healthcare (Tech) company. You will be responsible for developing, testing and maintaining software applications, and will work closely with the wider Software Development teams.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using Python
Troubleshoot and debug applications
Document code & take part in code reviews
Develop functional unit tests
Build code base
Collaborate with the Software Development teams to ensure smooth operations
Monitor performance of applications and take corrective actionsTechnical Skills Required:

Expert knowledge of Python and Django (3 years minimum)
At least 5 years of commercial experience in Software Development
Knowledge of RESTful web services and API development
Familiarity with databases and SQL
Understanding of DevOps and cloud services
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
