Job Description

BI Developer

Leatherhead with hybrid working

£40,000 plus benefits

Are you:

A BI Developer with experience in Oracle, Power BI and SQL’s?

Driven, passionate about data, and keen to be part of a team that values new ideas and is working on some incredible projects?

Have a good understanding of database structure?

Enjoy deep diving into data, and creating queries into Power BI and SSRS

Have experience within the Supply Chain or Procurement Industry?

Have experience in both back and from end?

The Opportunity:

Working within the Facilities Management IT team you will be involved in multiple government projects and departments across the UK.

You’ll work within a supportive team working on all things BI. This includes:

BI Development,
Deep diving into data and creating queries
Reporting and backlog checking
Obtaining information that’s missing from databases or requests
Working on back and front end with Power BI, Oracle and SSRS
Data Analysis
Working on and with active dashboards and reports
You’ll be a key member of the Supply Chain IT team.

The role spans a number of different teams and departments, so it’s never boring and you’ll be working on a number of databases.

The role is based in Leatherhead but is offered with hybrid working, so you can expect to mix your time in the office and at home.

About you:

It is essential you have:

Excellent BI experience, especially on Oracle SQL Developer
Power BI, SSRS and SQL experience
Experience in creating queries and analysing data
Drive, passion and keenness to learn and develop
Currently have, or have the ability to obtain security clearance.
Ideally you will:

Have experience in Supply Chain or Procurement background (though any industry will be considered)
Be familiar with the concepts and terms, but any industry will be considered with the right  experience.
Have an analytical mind, be a good team player but able to work autonomously
Be passionate about data, databases and how they interact, as well as having a real feel for data.
Have experience in multi-data source databases and  data warehouses, .
You will be passionate about your career and role in the team and help push together to deliver service excellence.

This role will see you involved in MOD and DWP contracts and as such you must be able to obtain UK security clearance.
