BI Developer

Fixed Term Contract (6 months)

Annual salary: £67,000

Environment: Hybrid (1 day in office per week)

Location: Crawley, West Sussex

A market leading financial services company are searching for an experienced BI Developer to join their team for 6 months (FTC). You will provide a customer focused "second line" service that delivers BI solutions to the business and end users.

Responsibilities:

Provide second line guidance, instruction and support service in IT BI software products and bespoke BI business software for end users
Assess opportunities for improvement to existing BI systems
Horizon-scan for opportunities to enhance/replace existing BI systems with new tools
As appropriate act as BI Solution Lead on non-BI projects
Design and develop BI software for in-house systems to meet the needs of the businessKey Skills/ Experience:

Microsoft SSIS for ETL
Microsoft SSRS
Microsoft Power BI
Delivering complex BI Datasets
Microsoft SQL Scripting including Stored Procedures
Understanding of BI, Data Warehousing, and Database principlesDesired experience:

SQL DBA Experience
Microsoft SharePoint
Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure
Experience of DevOps and Agile
Experience in Web technologies, Microsoft .NET, C#, JavaScript, CSS and HTML
