Our client are seeking a Business Analyst to join their growing business to support with the continued transformation their in house application, website and business are going through. This role would suit a Business Analyst who is used to working within an agile environment working closely with software teams.
What will you be doing as a Business Analyst?
Provision and continuous improvement of business requirements specification (functional and non-functional) through effective elicitation, documentation, refinement and communication to enable successful delivery of business change
Provision of high quality User Stories including Acceptance Criteria
Ensure that non-functional requirements such as security, scalability, resilience and usability are considered as part of business requirements for every issue and project
Develop highly effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels in the organisation to understand vision and deliver the optimal solution; be the conduit between the customer/PM and the delivery teams
Contribute to the definition and continuous improvement of business analysis best practice, including self-development, to maximise effectiveness and productivity
An advocate of the implementation, governance and continuous improvement of the business roadmap, project framework, and Agile delivery processes What experience should you have as a Business Analyst?
Previous experience working in a business analysis function bringing diverse knowledge and understanding
Good business acumen, situational awareness, and strong emotional intelligence
A solid understanding of the entire Software Development Lifecycle
Exceptional drive and tenacity to get things done and deliver business value
Excellent communicator, able to comprehend and translate technical or complex issues clearly to meet the competency level of the audience. Must be able to determine the appropriate level of detail to communicate to a variety of audiences
Ability to extract business impact from stakeholders that report production faults or change requests

Initial base salary of £45,000
25 days holiday + bank holidays
Hybrid working (2 days on site)
Working with the latest technologies and in a truly agile environment This role is based in Hereford and is commutable from Ross-on-Wye, Monmouth, Worcester, Leominster, Gloucester and Ludlow
