Job Description

Business Analyst

Salary: £55,000-£65,000

Environment: Hybrid (2-3 days in office)

Location: Central London or Brighton

A large insurance company are currently scaling up their departments including business analysis. As they continue to acquire multiple companies they need a strong, experienced Business Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis.

You would be required to manage high level stakeholders and perform migrations of data from one company to another. Insurance background, knowledge or experience is key for this position.

Responsibilities:

To support the Business Analysis Manager in the delivery of project assignment(s) with a focus on the following tasks:

o Assist in the shaping of strategic initiatives
o Map current and future state business processes identifying areas for improvement
o Develop and document TOM and business requirements
o Work with systems developers to design and develop solutions
o Exposure to systems development tools where appropriate
o Design, Plan and support PM team User Acceptance testing of solutions
o Assist in the implementation of business process change

To support the IT Department in the delivery of IT led projects with a focus on the following tasks:

o Project planning and initiation
o Risk and Issue management
o Stakeholder identification and management
o Progress reporting and metrics
o Project delivery

Skill set:

BCS Certificated (ISEB or International Diploma)
* Demonstrable analytical, problem-solving, investigative, and decision-making skills
* Ability to gather, analyse and report on data
* Report-writing skills, including an orientation toward detail and precision
* Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
* Ability to work under own direction to agreed plan
* Good time management
* Planning and organisation
