We are working with a leading business in Gloucester who are seeking a Business Data Analyst to support with creating financial investment and market analysis models. They are seeking an Analyst with extensive experience developing financial modelling and market analysis working closely with Senior Leaders.
   
What will you be doing as a Business Data Analyst?

Financial modelling and market/business fit analysis for licensing and M&A opportunities.
Market mapping and research reports
Maintenance and further development of internal market intelligence tools
Work closely with global business development to provide financial and strategic assistance for initial approval, due diligence, and final agreement development.
Create and help develop investment thesis papers for senior management to be used for project funding approval.
Facilitate strategic planning endeavours for senior management including internal and external research, analysis, and presentation creation.
Communicate and help implement key business case assumptions for senior management and other global business functions. What experience do you need as a Business Data Analyst?  

Knowledge of finance and accounting principles and practices, business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, modelling, coordination of resources and return on investment criteria.
Ability to analyse and interpret complex information/data or concepts.
Appropriately use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
Effective and persuasive verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc)
Advanced Microsoft Office product skills including Excel (Pivot Tables, INDEX MATCH, SUM IFS), Dynamics, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions, including finding relationships between seemingly unrelated events
Ability to adapt to changes in work setting, situation, priorities or instruction
Demonstratable experience of creating and maintaining relationships at all levels   What will you get in return?
