Our client in Gloucester is a reputable IT Support business who is widely regarded as an industry leader. The business offers a diverse range of IT services / products and has build a reputation on efficiency and quality. Due to increased interest and market conditions, there is an opportunity for a proactive and dynamic Business Development Manager to capitalise on these opportunities and join the business on a full time permanent basis. As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying / pursuing new business development opportunities and the onboarding of new clients.  You will develop exceptional product knowledge and provide solutions to clients, including but not limited to, Managed IT Services, Cyber Security, Cloud Services, IT Consultancy, Bespoke Solutions.

Your Responsibilities will include:

Actively following up meetings after all sales, marketing activity
Taking initiative to seek out new customers through events and networking
Proactively providing support for campaigns and events
Being able to demonstrate an exceptional knowledge of the business
Gaining customer insight into the business
Develop contacts and opportunities within existing customers to extend their engagement
Your Skills & Experience:

Previous experience in a similar role
High attention to detail
An exceptional understanding and execution of business and marketing strategies
Experience with digital marketing platforms
Ability to communicate at executive and end user level
Confident at building relationships with new and existing customers
Comfortable delivering presentations (PowerPoint) to key decision makers
