Job Description

Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager. The role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting net new logo customers helping them navigate through a complex IT landscape and aligning the Cloud Manged, Technical services and industry leading solutions from the Technology Vendor. This means being ambitious, fearless as well as pragmatic will stand you apart when driving outcome-based sales that deliver value leading to long standing relationships built on trust.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing self-generated leads and leads from marketing campaigns achieving and surpassing sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until you close the deal. You will also ensure proper after-sales service. Responsibilities

* Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities

* Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails

* Present the company to potential clients

* Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services

* Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction

* Build long-term trusting relationships with clients

* Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

* Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives

* Report to the Business Development Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results

* Stay up to date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

Experience

* Minimum of 3 year’s experience in new business development

* The ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of outcome based selling and successful navigation of strategic IT challenges

* Sales portfolio experience comprising of some (or all); consultancy, professional services and managed service solutions across LAN/WAN/UC/EUC/DC/Cloud/business transformation and application arenas

* Demonstrable track record of winning engagements through complex, consultative sales engagements requiring bespoke service solutions

* Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding annual gross margin targets

* Relevant sales qualifications and/or training, MEDDICC is desirable

Qualifications

* BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field (equivalent 5 years’ experience if not)
