Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Business Systems Analyst to join our Business Systems team and deliver business benefits by helping us implement and maintain better business processes supported by Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and other IS solutions.

What will you be doing in this role?

You will be a global subject matter expert in the relevant business process and applications domain, quantify opportunities for improvement and analyse and document as-is and to-be processes in conjunction with business users. You will also resolve problems, deliver requests for change, and maintain business processes and data flows in our business process management (BPM) tool.

In addition, you will perform systems validation and user acceptance testing in conjunction with the business users and prepare ‘How to’ guides and other training materials as needed. Planning and performing project tasks and being the point of contact for business super-users/users after go-live and providing hands-on support as required, following ITIL processes, is vital to the success of this role.

The Ideal candidate:

You will be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written, able to clarify and communicate complex issues. You will also be comfortable with data, with a high attention to detail, good analytical and problem-solving skills.

In addition, you will be positive and tenacious, able to understand common business processes, appreciate technology as a driver for change and able to help effectively drive business change.

Any experience with sales, distribution, manufacturing, warehousing, or logistics would be desirable.

Key skills and experience:

Proven business/systems analysis experience,

Able to communicate the big picture as well as detailed design,

Proven experience consulting with, and training, stakeholder, and super-user communities

Good working knowledge of Microsoft productivity tools.
Desirable skills and experience:

Proven experience implementing ERP solutions in major projects,

Ideally knowledge of IFS ERP

Ideally – some exposure to enterprise architecture approaches – such as TOGAF – and business process modelling/management software

Ideally good knowledge of database design concepts – relational, in-memory, data cubes and common data query and visualization tools – SQL, Microsoft Power BI, or similar Tableau, Qlikview

Ideally – Exposure to data migration and data/systems integration techniques and tools

Develop, document, and maintain As-is and To-Be processes,

Maintain business processes and data flows in BPM tool,

Perform options appraisals and recommend appropriate process and software solutions,

Deliver configuration changes and/or produce technical specifications,

Direct the work of business applications suppliers,

Provide process and application coaching/training to super-user/user community globally,

Perform project tasks,

Develop and maintain plans to address incidents and service requests,

Maintain a current knowledge of applications solutions in the relevant domain.
