A specialist Fintech SME that provides advanced data analytics; cracking complex, challenging problems in big data and financial markets is looking for a C++ Developer.
 
With recent success/investment, the company is scaling across multiple departments, and this is a great opportunity to join a respected Fintech as they enter hyper growth phase.
 
The company recently secured Series B investment, and have won awards for being Lead Data Provider. The role is hybrid remote, with 2/3 per month in the London office.
 
The main gig for this role is to deliver new data parsers in C++, as well as carry out the migration of Python data parsers into C++.
 
You will build and maintain data parsers that ingest market data and reference data, improve processes and reliability for managing these large datasets using the latest AWS technologies.
 
An ideal candidate will have experience of working with financial data, or other large datasets, and industry experience of writing production-level C++ and delivering functioning, well-tested systems.
 
You’ll be looking to grow their financial cloud, data skills. A Finance/Fintech background would be an advance but is not essential.

Role:

The company is constantly adding new financial datasets to their platform, and you’d be highly involved in the engineering of their pipeline, which is built using a distributed architecture.
 
You’ll be building/maintaining data parsers that ingest market data and reference data, improve processes and reliability for managing these large datasets using the latest AWS technologies, and become expert in understanding the data.

Some responsibilities include;

Own and manage data parsers
Work closely with the business to gather requirements
Design solutions with the team, and building and delivering completed functionality to production
Drive improvements in all areas, including the parsing framework, data quality, testing and CI
