Job Description

C# / .Net Developer – Wantage Oxfordshire £43-45k
Work with my clients IT Digital Optimization team to design, support and develop software solutions based on business needs . Chance to work with small development team and with cross-platforms technologies on variety of projects such as Finance, Manufacturing and analytically.

Typical Accountabilities

Capture requirements for software developments in support of the CT business or its customers and develop plans for delivery.
* Design appropriate applications to meet requirement specifications using appropriate software platform technologies.
* Develop software code, test and document software applications as required by design.
* Work with CT IT Support team on various upgrade projects, improvements, and other conversions of IT systems (where software is required) – eg, conference room control systems etc.
* Flexible use of software application platforms required to meet the requirement specification. This may include ASP.Net, HTML, Java, VB.Net, C# as appropriate to the application.
* End user IT support when necessary working with other team members across a diverse range of IT technologies in science and engineering based R&D organisation.
* Utilisation of teams existing processes for documentation and coding standards.
* Participate in team sessions on best practices for software development, continually investigating new methods for improvement.

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

* C#
* Strong Technical Background in development/IT
* Experience using a Relational Database (SQL Server preferred.
* Experience using a frontend framework e.g. Angular, Blazor, React.
* Knowledge and interest in new technologies and how they can be applied
* Good communication skills
* Customer focused and looking for continual improvement
* Team Player
* Be prepared to support existing applications as and when required (primary vb.net)
