Channel Account Manager
Industry: IT Managed Service
Rate: 45k + 5k Car + Uncapped Comission
Location: Remote Based
Working for my client, one of the UK's leading IT, Cloud and Communications Managed Service Companies, the Channel Account Manager will report to the New Business Sales Manager and be responsible for achieving retention of the existing 3rd Party Revenue streams that deliver sustainable and profitable income for the company.
This role will be targeted at growing the business with a targeted customer base consisting of 3rd party resellers, service providers and System Integrators with a focus on delivering in year revenue.
Ensure partners have all the required information and knowledge to recommend DCS services, aligned to their business profile via development plans and strategic enablement.
Identify key partners to work with closely to from a wider 'pool' of partnership businesses available.
Ability to define, construct and articulate solutions-based propositions fit for a partner eco-system, working with go to market, solution proposition and pre-sales teams.
Customer facing experience with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrable ability to work across departments in the organisation to build a strong virtual team
Work on tailoring direct customer solutions into a channel partner account space.
Understanding of operational, commercial, and financial aspects of Customer's drivers.
Ability to build relationships and communicate at all levels in an organisation.
Able to complete risk analysis of factors contributing to profitability.
Ability to develop and deliver simple solutions to complex challenges.
Carry out any 'ad hoc' assignments as and when required.
To be compliant with health and safety company policy and legislation.
Knowledge, skills, experience
A background of selling Services Solutions to Reseller, Service Provider and System Integrator customers.
Experienced Salesperson with a proven sales track record in a technology or services sector.
Demonstration of constant target achievement.
Experience of identifying customer's business problems & adapting solutions to meet the requirement.
