An exciting new opportunity to join our client’s growing ICT Department and their cloud-focussed Systems Engineering team, working with and alongside their telecommunications team in a dynamic and fast paced environment that brings fresh new challenges every day.
The role is based in our client’s Salford head office, with remote working offered 2-3 days per week once established.
Skills and Experience:
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for Cloud-based telephony systems
* Experience in PBX SIP VOIP support (or PABX) and implementation, ideally with Enterprise Telephony or call centre solutions experience
* Experience in NGN platform management and have a real passion for technology and telecoms services
* Core systems infrastructure comprises Lenovo/HP/Dell workstations and HP/Cisco Blade Server technology running Windows OS, Linux, EMC SANs, Avaya and IPC telephony systems and Cisco Networks.
Role and Responsibilities:
To support both internal and external customers ensuring the department is offering the best level of service in terms of ICT services, specialist applications and equipment. As part of the role, you'll be involved in project as well as operational work and have access to training opportunities in order to learn new technologies and skills.
You will be a key member of the cloud telephony project team, working collaboratively at all times within SLA and KPI driven environments, taking ownership of and responsibility for the resolving issues to support the overall business objectives
