Cloud Architect (Financial Industry) – London

Flexibility: Hybrid, at least twice a month in the office

For one of our leading Financial Industry company clients we are looking for a highly experienced and knowledgeable Cloud Architect to join the team in London. The successful candidate will have deep expertise in public cloud platforms, specifically Azure, with a strong focus on designing and planning robust cloud solution architectures.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the larger team and the Head of Architecture to develop the organization's design and architecture based on strategic business and technological operational models.
Contribute to guiding concepts and long-term technology roadmaps, with an emphasis on but not just Azure technologies.
Advise and consult the IT Directorate on technological strategy.
Communicate with business analysts and architects to create agreed-upon design guidelines.
Work closely with business users and project teams to provide solutions that include but are not limited to Azure technology.
Create models that explain the IT strategy's artifacts, guiding concepts, and frameworks and fill them into iServer 365.Requirements:

Deep Public Cloud expertise, including IaaS, PaaS, Serverless, Microservices, SaaS – particularly Azure.
Experience in designing and planning robust cloud solution architectures.
Demonstrable knowledge of Service and EA frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or ITIL.
Good knowledge of multi-channel business and technology architecture.
Experience within an Agile / Iterative delivery environment.
In-depth comprehension, practical expertise, and utilization of applicable IT software, mainly grounded on the Microsoft platform.
