Job Description

A Charity based in London are seeking a Network and Infrastructure Lead to deliver IT infrastructure, network and server projects and manage the day-to-day operations, performance and security of the IT infrastructure.


Ensuring core IT across all sites and cloud environments within the organisation remain stable, secure, cost-effective, scalable and are developed according to the predicted needs of the organisation.
Lead on a variety of projects to agreed deadlines and managing internal & external partner involvement
Support a constantly evolving environment, covering ticket queries; system health checks and maintenance; patch management, alongside thorough documentation management.
Take ownership for resolving 3rd line incidents within SLAs and managing tickets with internal & external partners as required.
Analyse infrastructure expenditure and identify and implement cost-savings

Experience Required:

Deep and demonstrable understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud and server 2012+ products and platforms, network infrastructure and virtualisation
Proven knowledge and experience of troubleshooting networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and vLANs
Experience of managing and deploying Routers & Switches (ideally Cisco), Firewalls & IDS/IPS (ideally Barracuda) and Wireless Access Points (ideally Extreme Networks/Aerohive)
Proven ability to assess and prioritise security alerts and other competing priorities. Certificate management experience and supporting an internal PKI
Established Powershell Scripting and Automation Technology implementation expertise. Intune/MEM knowledge and Autopilot development, policy management and administration
Experience producing detailed documentation of processes to share with the wider team and the ability to support and coach team members
Ability to research and investigate systems in preparation for implementation/support
