Job Title: Contract IT Procurement Manager
Location: London & Remote (on-site 1 day per week)
Salary: Up to £700 per day (Inside IR35)
Duration: Initial 6 months

My client is looking for an experienced IT Procurement Manager to join their team on an initial 6-month contract basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of IT procurement, including vendor selection and management, contract negotiation, working with suppliers, and responding to RFIs/RFPs. In addition, experience in information/cyber security projects would be highly valued.

Responsibilities:

Vendor selection and management: Conduct market research, identify potential vendors, and manage relationships with existing vendors to ensure the best possible terms and conditions for the company.

Contract negotiation: Negotiate and draft contracts, including software licensing agreements, professional services agreements, and hardware procurement agreements.

Working with suppliers: Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services and resolve any issues that arise.

RFIs/RFPs: Develop, distribute, and evaluate RFI/RFPs to select the best vendor for the company's needs.

Information/Cyber Security: Experience in information/cyber security projects would be highly valued.

Requirements:

Strong experience in classic IT procurement activities such as Vendor Selection/Management, Proof of Concepts, Contract Negotiation, Working with Suppliers, and RFIs/RFPs.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including IT professionals, legal teams, and senior management.

Experience in information/cyber security projects would be highly valued.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience in a similar role with a proven track record of success.
