Job Description

Creative Product Manager, 12 month fixed term role, covering a maternity contract here in Swindon. Working on a full time basis, with a salary up to £34,000 plus some great employee benefits, this role offers flexible, hybrid working options. This renowned, professional body is seeking a candidate with a BSc (Hons) in Computing (or similar), who can evidence employment experience gained in a product creation and design role, a candidate who has an employment interest in the IT and Product Design sector with a desire to utilise proven product and creative design skills.

Ideally registered to RITTech level, with robust digital creative design skills, you will work with the wider Product team, consistently looking at how leading products are created, with a passion to improve and enhance current product methods. Your will act as the first point of contact for all product vision and value proposition, working with key customers within the wider educational and learning sectors, working with their product portfolios to ensure that only exceptional levels of product and service are delivered.

As Creative Product Manager, you will work closely with the key customers to understand their requirements, taking time to understand the wider market, the competition, retaining market competitiveness for both existing and new products. The ability to manage data-driven research, translating feedback into tangible business and marketing plans will require high levels of articulate verbal and written communication skills.

Responsible for the production of marketing and product content, preparation of marketing and product briefs, ensuring that full regulatory compliance requirements are adhered to in the industry and further supported by a full appreciation of Quality Assurance is key. Able to produce complex reports, perform risk analysis and mitigation plans will form key elements of this role. Naturally you will have advanced working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint) plus Adobe Photoshop/Sketch/Adobe Illustrator and/or CorelDRAW digital design know-how.

As Creative Product Manager, you will demonstrate strong analytical skills with a flair for capturing, recording and delivering data driven evidence, with a solid understanding of design, development and operational product marketing concepts and principles. Able to think beyond the typical response and solutional process, you will have an inquisitive and investigative mind, all for the sole purpose of obtaining and providing the very best service to your key customers and their product delivery
