** South Yorkshire, Sheffield – Hybrid first working**

As CTO and a pivotal part of the Senior Management Team, you will be required to spearhead the delivery of a new business technology strategy, and lead on the design and implementation of new architecture and infrastructure across the business. This role requires someone with vision and passion, who can develop a new technology and data strategy to take the organisation on its journey to a cloud-based serverless architecture.
You will have the opportunity to use your tech skills and experience to lead the in-house team and third party technology partners to produce and support great digital products and services.

The technology you will develop is critical to help the organisation deliver their mission so that they can continue to improve the lives of millions of people through great digital equity.
We are keen to speak with candidates who possess the following skills and experience:
* Senior leadership and management experience in a technology role
* Working with developers and suppliers, to use AWS technologies and services to achieve a serverless approach to architecture
* Experience of developing fully accessible digital products and services and of implementing a product based approach to service delivery
* Hands-on experience of implementing agile and DevOps methodologies with a strong focus on customer and users
* Extensive experience of technology operations and security management, including budget management and cloud services cost optimisation
* Establishing a technology ecosystem including setting up and managing commercial contracts and SLAs for development and management of technology services
* Managing technology-enabled change including extensive CRM and API integration, ideally Salesforce
* Detailed understanding of the software development lifecycle and of software development methodologies and frameworks, including SAAS, PAAS and low-code
* Understanding of API standards and API Documentation
* Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills with proven experience at board level and presenting to key stakeholders
* Able to manage multiple priorities, while constantly looking for opportunities to innovate and streamline
* Knowledge of the Data Protection Act and UK GDPR
* Cyber Essentials Certifications
