Cyber Security Engineer
CRG Recruitment are working with a global client based in the Chester area who are looking to recruit a Cyber Security Engineer.
Please note this role is offering a hybrid working model
As the IT Security Engineer you will,
* Report to the IT Cyber Security Manager and in-line with global IT Cyber Security Policies enable the development of security standards within the Operational Technology (OT) and IT teams
* Be a motivated self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision
* Be adaptable to changing circumstances and environment
* Ensure the ongoing compliance of systems to Cyber Security policies and architectural patterns and standards
* Recommend security controls and identify solutions that support a business objective
* Provide specialist advice and recommend approaches across teams and various stakeholders
* Be cognizant of the differing legislative requirements and challenges facing a global organisation
* Communicate widely with other stakeholders
* Advise on important security-related technologies and assess the risk associated with proposed changes
* Inspire and influence others to execute security principles
* Help review other people’s work
Ideal skills to have experience in,
* Azure experience especially around identity management and Defender services
* Defender for endpoint
* Fortinet firewalls
* Any SecOps experience especially around vulnerability management
* AWS (more of a nice to have)
