My end user client is currently looking for a D365FO Functional Lead on a permanent basis. My client have an office in STOCKPORT and LONDON, and offer a hybrid working model between home and office based with 2 – 3 days in EITHER office location. Please see below for more information:

D365 Platform Product Ownership

End to end ownership of D365 enhancements, changes, and product evolution
Work with SMEs/business process owners to assess business requirements and identify solutions
Advise business on configuration changes, solution options to meet business requirements
Translate business requirements into solution designs
Communicate change requirements to development teams
Design, deliver and test configuration changes
Impact Assessment review/execution
Identify produce enhancement opportunities and work with vendor product teams and/or developers
Conduct solution demonstrations

Incidents & Bug Fixes

Oversee incidents/assist with resolution of high priority bugs
Ensure fixes are delivered to a high standard by managed services teams
Ensure root causes are established/remediated
Provide escalation route for priority tickets as well as assist administrators with second line support

Testing, Quality Assurance & Training

Regression and UAT management (primarily D365 upgrades, changes and bug fix cycles)
Oversee automated testing execution
Deliver training for new processes and changes, keep documentation updated
Ensure developers/service teams deliver high quality changes

Skills & Experience

Dynamics 365 finance / AX experience as a functional consultant, end-to-end project experience
Strong understanding of financial processes
End to end experience delivering system changes from requirements through to design, build, testing and deployment
Experience working within Microsoft DevOps (or a very similar tool)
