Job Title: Lead Data Engineer
We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer to join our team and lead our data engineering efforts using Azure Synapse, Azure, Apache Spark, Python, and SQL. The ideal candidate will have experience designing, developing, and deploying large-scale data pipelines and be comfortable leading a team of data engineers.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy large-scale data pipelines using Azure Synapse, Azure, Apache Spark, Python, and SQL
Lead a team of data engineers and ensure timely delivery of high-quality data engineering solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, business analysts, and software engineers to ensure data pipeline solutions are aligned with business needs
Identify and evaluate new technologies, tools, and frameworks for improving data pipeline development and deployment
Develop and maintain documentation for data pipeline solutions
Ensure data pipeline solutions are scalable, reliable, and secureQualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or related field
Experience designing, developing, and deploying large-scale data pipelines using Azure Synapse, Azure, Apache Spark, Python, and SQL
Experience leading a team of data engineers
Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL concepts
Experience with data governance and data security
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment 
Package:

Salary – £120k (negotiable depending on experience)
