Hoot Recruit are looking for a Desktop Support Analyst, who, with a personable, friendly disposition can assist their colleagues when IT issues arise from the most basic of tasks i.e., turning it off and on again (see what I did there? – it had to be done) to installing and configuring operating systems.  

Your time will be spent being the ‘go to person’ for all things IT and as such will get to work face to face and remotely with a diverse group of colleagues, of all levels and where no two days will ever be the same.  Your ability to prioritise will be your greatest asset. 

For this role a salary of between £25,000 and £31,000 is offered (depending on experience), along with other great benefits, working Monday to Friday, 37.5hrs per week. This role is based in Droitwich, but you’ll need to be able to travel to other area’s where you’ll get to meet other colleagues and demonstrate your IT expertise.  If this sounds like it’s the job for you, call us. 

Role responsibilities

Deliver a first class support service across the business in a proactive, helpful manner
Ensure all systems are maintained to a high standard, including upgrades (hardware and software)
Manage the demands on your time in order of priority
Advise and consult with individuals with regards to on-going issues and likelihood of end resolution, contacting third parties if necessary
What we require from you

Be a good communicator with the ability to converse in ‘layman’ terms when necessary
A proven track record of providing Desk Top Support to 2nd line
Flexibility to drive to multi geographical areas
