Our client is looking for a talented Front End Developer to join their team. As a Front End Developer, you will be responsible for creating beautiful, responsive websites that provide the best user experience for our client's customers.

Responsibilities:

Developing websites that are responsive, comprehensive, and visually appealing

*

Optimising web pages for speed, scalability, and traffic

*

Ensuring all web development is optimised for mobile devices

*

Creating documentation outlining efficient processes

*

Assisting and training junior team members in the creation and maintenance of websites

*

Taking the lead on front-end aspects of development where necessary

*

Developing technically-challenging functionality, such as AJAX-loaded content

*

Snagging and testing websites to ensure a high standard

Requirements:

*

Strong knowledge of HTML, SCSS, JavaScript, and jQuery

*

Good experience using PHP to render WordPress websites

*

Experience with custom post types, as well as with WooCommerce

*

Knowledge of creating responsive and adaptive websites

*

Familiarity with the web development cycle, programming techniques, and tools

*

Well-versed in GIT-based workflows and how to implement them into a system

*

Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement

*

Strong time management skills and ability to work efficiently

*

Strong team player with effective communication skills

*

Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and finish them in a timely manner
