You'll play a key role within empowered, autonomous DevOps teams to flexibly and efficiently design, develop, deploy and maintain applications and services. Working with our customers to build systems that support their mission you'll be encouraged to identify new ways of solving problems.

We fully embrace DevOps ways of working, and build a very broad range of solutions for our customers. We value Engineers who enjoy operating in roles with exposure to the full delivery lifecycle.

Not only will you and the team be making an impact upon the systems you work with, you'll be doing it for an organisation that has a huge impact on the security and safety of the UK and other nations.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a DevOps / SRE / Infrastructure role combined with :

An appreciation of Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD tooling
Scripting abilities with languages such as Shell, Bash, Python, JavaScript or Typescrip
A working knowledge of Linux, networking, routing & firewalls
Experience of working in an Agile environment (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP)Any of the following is highly desirable:

Configuration Management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
Infrastructure as Code tools – Terraform, Cloud formation, CDK
Cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, Codecommit, API Gateway, Lambda
Docker, and container runtime platforms such as Kubernetes, Openshift or Marathon/ Mesos etc.The package:
