Lead DevSecOps Engineer, Azure, Kubernetes, Remote

A Lead DevSecOps Engineer is required to join a pioneering technology company, who have developed an innovative portfolio of products used within the life science industry.

The Role

Working fully remotely in a predominantly hands-on capacity, the Lead DevSecOps Engineer will be the focal point for a small, dedicated DevSecOps team, working with Developers, DevOps and Site Reliability Engineers, to take a great DevSecOps foundation, and build upon it to handle my client's impressive, sustained growth. With a focus on automation, the Lead DevSecOps Engineer will set up and use security tools such as Static Code analysis, Dynamic, and container security scanning, will automate manual work such as vulnerability findings, vulnerability fixes and security incidents, and will support the engineering department in being ISO27001 compliant by ensuring policy is followed on Azure via automation.

What’s required of the Lead DevSecOps Engineer?

A good understanding of security best practices within Azure and cloud infrastructure in general
Previous DevSecOps experience, or relevant experience gained from DevOps positions with a strong security focus
Experience with containerisation, particularly Kubernetes
Experience with scripting in either Python and/or Go
