About the role
The DevSecOps Support Engineer will support all solutions created within the DevSecOps team, handling incidents and requests received via Telephone, Email and Portal. As the primary point of contact they are expected to provide a high standard of customer service, utilising excellent communication skills with a view to diagnosing faults and completing requests first time wherever possible.
Experience in supporting bespoke applications with a particular view on supporting the underlying code.
Apply knowledge of secure, modern, testable and scalable programming languages (and frameworks) such as (but not limited to) –
Swift via Xcode for both apps and server-side solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience and proven track record of application and solution development work and use of tooling
Ability to understand complex requirements and articulate those from the customer’s perspective
Good understanding of market trends and industry best practice for application development
Strong analytical and conceptual skills
Willingness to demonstrate flexibility with working hours where required to meet customer deadlines
Strong problem-solving skills
Good attention to detail
Excellent organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects at any one time
Strong understanding of application design principles
Home based working normal core hours. Some out of hour’s work will be required to meet business demands. Travelling to and from other Jigsaw24 office locations and customer offices will be required both in and outside of working hours. Occasional overnight stays will be required.
