We are pleased to be working exclusively on this new and exciting opportunity for our SME Client who are now looking for an experienced Digital Marketeer to come and join their business based on the outskirts of Gloucester (easily commutable from the M5) – The main objective of this role will be to build and develop the brand of their growing business. A unique opportunity where you will play a pivotal role in the company’s growth and success.
Working with a Business Development Manager who themselves have a diploma in Marketing, you will be responsible for all sales and marketing material to create awareness and promote the products and services that the business has to offer. Up until recently a vast amount of new client attraction has been based around their fantastic reputation and being recommended to people from their existing client base, however, it is now time to grow and spread the word and thus move this into a fully-fledged marketing role where there is a ROI attributed to this function within the business.
The role is a part time (20-30 hrs per week / 3-5 days a week) office based digital marketing role – Our Client is working from their offices, based not far from Gloucester, thus this is NOT a working from home role initially.
Due to the nature of this Clients product offering, the role would suit someone who is interested in technology and has a technical mindset in order to understand the products and service the company provides, the successful candidate must also enjoy “Doing the Do” and enjoy a varied, fast paced and busy role. You will be solely accountable for all things Marketing, and will also be involved in assisting the Business Development Manager with some account management duties of existing Clients (predominantly when they are out of the business on appointments) .
Due to this role being part of a small company, it is essential that you enjoy working in a small business and have the right attitude, as everyone within the business genuinely cares about the business, its Clients’ and flourishing…. When taking on this role, it is clear that the successful candidate will be looking for a career and not simply a job. Digital Marketing Executive
Key responsibilities:
* Create content, imagery, and various other marketing materials
* Update, manage and schedule content for all social media channels
* Create, manage and schedule e-mail marketing campaigns
* Design and order merchandise for events and campaigns using a budget
* Plan a social media content calendar, and develop create ways to increase followers and engagement, as well as generate new leads from social posts
* Be able to report on statistics weekly
* Copywrite and upload weekly blogs onto our website
* Be pro-active with relevant I.T news and marketing campaigns
* Brand awareness and show why this Client is the expert in their industry
Key Skills:
* Have a solid understanding of SEO
* Fantastic IT skills including Microsoft office packages
* Photoshop, and other digital image software
* Photography and videography skills is desirable
* Excellent customer service skills
* Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload
* Experience using WordPress is necessary
* Previous experience in a similar position is desirable
* A keen interest in IT and technology
