Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant

Remote, UK

About the company:

Our client is an international company with offices in the UK, Portugal, and US. They work with organisations to create digital and technology platforms to drive transformation, develop capabilities and deliver digital and transactional experiences that build business around the world.

They are looking for a dynamic and fast-learning Microsoft Dynamics 365 Consultant to work directly with one of their clients.

This position can be remote within the UK.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Delivery of end-to-end implementations across all phases of project life cycle including design, configuration, testing, training, go-live, post go-live support & reporting
Demonstrate excellent consulting skills, including analytical knowledge, written & verbal communication & team participation
Work with project team and client to gather and document functional requirements, complete gap/fit analysis and determine expectations
Participate in design sessions to produce solution design and integration design documents, alongside development teams
Comprehend client business problems, develop, or recommend appropriate solutions & implement through in-platform configuration
Perform system and functional testing for projects as required including client support through UAT.
Delivery of end-user training to clients and colleagues
Provide remote (and possible on-site) support and assistance throughout delivery and go-live phases of project
Demonstrate knowledge of scope creep and use of change control
Able to understand complex problems faced by clients and provide solutions
Awareness around upselling and understanding of additional company capabilities
Awareness of product roadmap and the content of future releases of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Partake in practice development activities
Promotes the Values of our company
Perform additional duties as may occur from time to time as instructed and agreed by Management
Represent Creative in a professional and positive manner at all times
Essential Skills:

Proven Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Implementation experience (MB800 certified a bonus)
Experience working with and implementing Continia software (Document Capture, Document Output & Expense Management)
Experience of gathering and documenting customer requirements and relating them to the functionality within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Scope functional requirements to identify where clients need to extend functionality of the standard Business Central application
Conduct essential project tasks such as GAP analysis, effective product handovers and signing-off project milestones, verifying that configuration is appropriate based on client requirements and expectations
Work both independently and with other members of the consultancy and development teams, feeding back client information to ensure excellent customer service
Exposure to financial systems and methodologies
Data migration experience
Business process knowledge
Strong commercial awareness
Good knowledge and ability to demonstrate Business Central functionality
Consulting and customer facing experience
The ability to deliver training sessions on a one to one or group basis (in person or over Microsoft Teams)
Experience using, implementing, training Jet Reports a bonus
