Dynamics F&O Consultant – Birmingham | Hybrid – £65,000 – £80,000 

OPUS has partnered with a leading charity in the social housing sector who fight homelessness, evictions, and myriad social-housing injustices. From a small project team of 8 some 6-years' ago, the firm has grown to over 200 heads and is undertaking a significant digital transformation within their F&O systems. As such, they're now looking for a new consultant to join their bustling IT department of 22 people, someone who can work alongside their lead developer and become a go-to within the business for Dynamics and System Architecture.

Within the role, you can expect to forge strong relationships within the team to ensure best practices are adhered to and more bespoke elements of the product are crafted and fit for purpose, work on configurations and customisations, work within the guidelines for traditional finance operating models for system compliance, and work on some maintenance projects (roughly 10-20% of time on these). Over your time, you'll look to integrate Finance and Customer Service streams into their ERP model and work under the guidance of the lead developer with over 20-years' of experience, and a wealth of knowledge to help support and upskill in any area necessary. As well as having support from peers, the business is strong in continued professional development – giving staff all of the tools, resources, and importantly time to continue expanding their skills and remaining abreast of recent technological advancements.

Key skills required for the role:
– Microsoft Dynamics F&O 3+ years 
– Knowledge of several finance modules including general ledger, sales ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable etc
– Strong technical skills including X++, C# is desirable but not essential
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

This role is hybrid from offices in the Midlands and Bristol – depending on your preference, and allows for 4-days a week working from home. Candidates need to be based within a commutable distance without need of visa/sponsorship.
