Job Description

eCommerce Hybris (SAP) Developer

Role: eCommerce (SAP) Architect

Reporting into: eCommerce Manager & UK Tech Director

Salary: £65-75k + 17.5% bonus + £7,250 car allowance (can be taken as cash) + benefits

Location: Office in London, 3 days in office per week

Benefits: 17.5% bonus (rising to 20%), £7,250 car allowance (can be taken as cash), flexible hours (can start any time between 7am-10am), healthcare, life assurance, 25 days holiday + public holidays, up to 10% pension contribution, free parking, subsidised canteen!

Why join:

Stable business that takes a careful and considered approach to growth & acquisition – they've not had to make any lay offs and have always paid their bonuses (even during the pandemic)!

Globally recognised brand that remains family-run, so they've retained a close-knit and inclusive culture!

Hugely invest in learning & development which has helped them achieve a strong retention rate!

About the company:

A globally recognised brand that is investing heavily in technology to drive their B2B and D2C growth. They're a big player however remain family-owned, and their culture reflects this. They've grown significantly through acquisition which, from a tech perspective, means that means they're very open to adopting new innovative solutions which makes their environment very interesting. Growth is steady and secure, so this is a very stable business to work for.

About the role:

You will lead two Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) implementations, managing these projects end-to-end from induction to completion. This will involve designing both global and local application landscapes, working closely with stakeholders to achieve the business goals.

The strategy itself is determined by the UK and Global eCommerce teams, which is then handed to you to create the design. You will not code, but need to understand how code / deployment works as you'll be managing external vendors who code the solution. As such, you'll need to know enough so that you can advise and push-back where necessary.

This is an individual contributor role, without direct reports (for those who want to manage, we can look at various options for you for the long-term). There are no travel requirements for this position as they teams have built strong remote communication channels and want to reduce their burden on the environment.

About you:

You will have a background in software engineering and / or architecture; we're open to any background though knowledge of Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, React, Spartacus, or DevOps is helpful. You will have expertise with CRMs and CMS' and their implementations. This is a SaaS environment, so you'll be comfortable working with SAP Commerce Cloud (formerly Hybris) or similar.

A key part of this role is working across various teams (at all levels) to achieve technical solutions for business problems – so strong communication and coordination skills are critical. If you have knowledge of Digital Marketing that's helpful, however this is a technical role so not essential.

If you feel you have most of these skills, but not everything, then do get in touch! We're looking for enthusiastic leaders who are willing to skill-up and learn new things!

If interested, please do get in touch to apply!

Thanks,

Callum
