The Opportunity 

As an embedded software engineer you will:
Design and implement efficient real-time systems
Understand and apply new and emerging technologies
Work on diverse projects spanning a range of domains including Array Processing, Communications and Sensors
Skills
Ideally you will have:
Expertise in C and/or C++ for embedded development
Experience of unit and system testing
Expertise in embedded Linux platform development
Experience of modern DevOps practices, including version control and continuous integration
Knowledge of latest System on Chip (SoC) devicesIt would be useful, but not essential, to have:

Expertise in development and implementation of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms
Experience of modelling/simulating algorithms using MATLAB
Expertise in FPGA firmware development using VHDL
Knowledge of latest open source frameworks e.g. OpenCPI
Knowledge of latest Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms 
It would also be desirable to have an awareness of:
Electronic warfare
RF design
