    Job Description

    My client are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join their team based in Portsmouth. The company develops advanced software and hardware products. The successful candidate must have experience embedded programming experience in a Linux based environment.

    Role responsibilities:

    – Design, develop and debug embedded software, including device drivers, board support packages and applications

    – Develop, maintain and debug C/C++ code

    – Develop embedded software for a variety of microprocessors and microcontrollers

    – Develop and debug applications for Linux –

    Develop software for microprocessors and microcontrollers

    The ideal candidate will have:

    – Experience with embedded C/C++ programming and debugging

    – Experience with device drivers, board support packages and embedded applications

    – Experience with Linux and embedded operating systems

    – Knowledge of microcontroller architectures

    This is a full-time role with a salary range of £40-55k.
