This is an exciting opportunity for an Embedded Software Engineer to join a highly innovative electronics technology development company who really value their employees. The company are market leaders in their field, with ground-breaking safety critical motion control technology incorporating proximity sensors, RFID, embedded systems and complex 3D geometry algorithms.
Following outstanding levels of growth we are looking to hire an Embedded Software Engineer who will be involved in the full life cycle of software development across a range of exciting projects.
This role is offered as a Hybrid Software Engineer / Firmware Engineer role, working from home 3 days a week, with 2 days in the newly appointed Central London office. Candidates should be self-motivated and have a strong background of hands-on firmware development using microcontrollers, mainly Microchip, STM32, and TI CC1310 RF.

Qualifications & Experience for Embedded Software Engineer / Firmware Engineer – Hybrid
BEng / MEng degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electronics
Recent and relevant experience of hands-on firmware development using microcontrollers, mainly Microchip, STM32, and TI CC1310 RF.
Proficient in firmware programming using C and associated development toolchain such as STM Cube, GCC and MPLab to implement design effectively.
Experience using C# .Net, Python and Java.
Knowledge of electronic principles and circuits, including interface protocols, data acquisition, and communications systems (GSM, IOT).
Self-starter, resourceful, and driven to deliver great results within a flexible working environment.
Experience of working in an Agile environment using tools such as Jira and Trello.
Experience with software control such as Bitbucket.
Have strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail.Location: Hybrid with 2 days a week in Central London.
